Anita Daigle
Anita S. Daigle, M.S., CCC-SLP is an ASHA certified and Florida licensed Speech language pathologist with over 15 years experience. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2006 and Master of Science degree in communication disorders from Mercy College in 2008. Anita's career began in Connecticut, where she worked in various settings such as: preschools, daycares, private practices, homes, in the community and she was the owner of Journey Through Speech from 2014-2020. Anita also ran a social skills group where she implemented Zones of Regulation to assist children in self regulation, while teaching social skills using different modalities. Anita is level 1 PROMPT trained. She has extensive experience using the Lidcombe program for stuttering, Hodson's Cycles Approach to phonological disorders and implementing a family coaching model. Anita expanded her practical experience during the 23/24 school year by leading a Mommy and Me nursery program at a Waldorf inspired school. In this role, she found a natural outlet for her desire to guide the whole family.
Anita believes in taking a holistic approach toward supporting her families unique needs. She nurtures the whole child in all areas of development and learning. She provides therapy in natural environments (home, daycare/preschool) and in a shared office space amongst various holistic practitioners. She takes a multisensory approach to therapy and tailors each session to the unique needs of her client. Anita is passionate about creating a strong, trusting relationship with her clients and their families that leaves long lasting imprints well into the future.
